BURLESQUE

Burlesque is a very feminine form of Theatre Jazz, seen in musicals such as 'Chicago' and the Christina Aguilera movie 'Burlesque' & Baz Luhrmann's 'Moulin Rouge.' Inspired by French dancing -  movements are slinky yet elegant, and dances can be both slow and upbeat. Dance routines changing to offer the dancer variety as they build upon their dance technique & performance skills.

Open Level Burlesque

This class is open to dancers from no prior experience to intermediate level. Be prepared for a fun and sassy class, but be ready to work up a sweat too.

What to wear

Footwear: Jazz shoes, jazz sneakers or chorus shoes.
Clothing: Non-restrictive and similar to something you would wear to the gym (eg. tights, lycra leggings, sports top, singlet or t-shirt)
