Beginner/Adv Beginner Pointe
Beginner Pointe focuses on the fundamentals of Pointe work, starting with extensive barre work to strengthen muscles and dance technique. When sufficient ankle and core strength has been developed, dancers will progress to centre practice. The importance of foundation work is emphasised to avoid possible injuries.
Intermediate Pointe
Intermediate Pointe is for dancers who have strong knowledge and experience in Classical Ballet, and have already built up significant ankle strength. More complex movements, exercises and dance sequences are taught to extend the dancer both at the barre and in the centre, as technique is focused upon and artistic expression is explored.
