Beginner/Adv Beginner and Intermediate Tap
Rachael has taught Beginner & Intermediate Tap for the past 3 years at HADA and is excited to see what this coming year has in store for her tap students as they progress in skill level. Rachael has a real dedication towards teaching tap technique yet makes the lesson highly engaging and enjoyable as students strive toward their full potential.
Rachael has had experience teaching tap to all ages and enjoys every minute of it. From babies classes up to adults, it gives her great joy to see the improvement in her students week by week.
Rachael's passion lies in tap dancing, but she has been trained in various styles of dance over the years. These include Tap, Irish, Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary. Starting at just four years old, she has been dancing for almost twenty years. Completing her graded and vocational RAD Ballet Exams, Rachael has been able to use her extensive training and compete in multiple eisteddfods.
She was also lucky enough to join a cast of people and perform at The Sydney Opera House for a Christmas Ballet show which ran through the month of December, performing multiple shows a week. Another true passion Rachael has is Irish Dancing. Competing state and nation wide annually, it kept her focused, disciplined and fit. After training and competing in the sport for over 10 years, Rachael was offered a role with the childrens performance group 'The Wiggles,' with her talent and love for dance being featured in multiple DVD shows.
Working in Advertising and Marketing, Rachael enjoys the time out of the office and on the dance floor. Rachael is a very dedicated, patient and approachable teacher, enabling her tap students to flourish within the learning environment.
Rachael is excited to pass on her love for dance to her tap students and can't wait to see what Hills Adult Dance has in store for tap in the years to come.
