By age 15, Sahara had completed all of her RAD examinations up to Advanced 1 with distinctions and received a scholarship to Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy, which prompted a relcation from Perth to Sydney During that year, she trained with Australian renowned choreographers and dancers, such as PAul Boyd and Paul Saliba. She also completed her FATD gold star jazz exam, achieving a distinction with the highest mark in the state. Deciding to further her training, she took up another fulltime dance course at The Ballet School Australia and during that time completed her Advanced 2 exam with distinction and was able to perform lead roles, with one being Kitri in a production of Don Quixote. She was also offered and attended 2 classical ballet programs in the USA; with Marat Daukayev School of Ballet in LA and Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Ballet in New York City. Due to an unfortunate injury, Sahara had to stop dancing but has since found a love for teaching and choreographing, as well as acting. Sahara is currently studying at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, completing a Screen Actors Studio course, allowing her to continue expressing the creativity that her many years of dance has provided. |
